Canary Islands Day (May 30) The students organised many activities to celebrate the festivity: from games (physical and online) to a full romería (sort of market with traditional products, music, garments and symbols of the community). Hope you enjoy and learn new things from our culture!  A game done by teacher Noelia Pinadero:  Ruleta de Palabras: CANARIAN WORDS (Lengua extranjera - 2eso - canarian words) (educaplay.com)

Book Day  It is said that books shape our personality. We definitely agree with that statement, and you?  Which are your favourite books? Our 1 ESO students made haikus and black out texts. Hope you like them. ☺

Recap: Easter, holidays, expectations for the 3º term (IES Adeje)

Easter, holidays, expectations for the 3º term We came back from Easter holidays, we had time to relax, have fun and plan our third term. Our teachers asked us what we had done during holidays, but in fact, we did not do anything in particular. Most of us did not go abroad. Moreover, nearly all of us did the same things: chat online, sleep till late, hang out with friends and spend time with our families.  We are lucky because in general, there was rainy and cold weather in the mainland and here, on the Canary Islands there was some rain for a short time, most of the time it was sunny as usual. The processions could go out. 😍 It is said that breaking the routine is good for our mental health and we all agree on that. During the second term we had many tasks and exams and some did not go out well, so now we have time to make up and get good marks to pass the school year. 💪 Very few of us celebrated Easter time, there are some that are muslims and celebrated Ramadán, but all coincide

8 M Women inventors (CIP Tafalla)

Our Basic Vocational Training group in CIP Tafalla prepared this collaborative presentation to celebrate Women's Day, 8 March.

8 M Women inventors (IES Adeje)

8 M: Women Inventors  During 27th , 28th  and 29 th February, our students of 4º ESO worked with the theme of Women Inventors. We discovered that many of them were the first to create many interesting objects, investigate and develop ideas that nowadays are taken for granted. Some of them could not have a proper recognition at their time, so we decided to highlight their work and contribution to society. We created some infographics and presentations about remarkable women.  We hope you enjoy our work 😊  Feel free to comment on some discoveries.  Do their names ring a bell? 👀 Infographics Presentation 1 Presentation 2 Presentation 3 Presentation 4 Presentation 5

Video call to know each other! (January, 17)

Video call to know each other!  Last week we enjoyed a video call session where our students could get to know each other. Students from Liceo Virgilio-Redi, Lecce Italy and IES Adeje Tenerife, Spain with the participation of teacher Cristina Basilio, Ensinus ETP-INETE from Portugal could chat online on 17 January to ask and answer questions in a sort of coffee chat.  The experience was great in spite of the fact that we had some technical problems but communication was possible. We are eager to have another chat to go on organising and sharing experiences, ideas and of course improving our language competences. Pictures of our meeting: 😍
